Job Description We are hiring On-Site Spanish Interpreters in Rhode Island to provide accurate, in-person consecutive interpretation in medical environments. This crucial role facilitates seamless communication between English-speaking healthcare professionals and Spanish-speaking patients to ensure effective, high-quality patient care.
Contract Responsibilities:
Provides On-Site consecutive interpretation.
Follows all Kreato Global policies and procedures related to information confidentiality and interpreter ethics.
Maintains strict patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA, FERPA, GLBA, and/or regulatory requirements, policies, and standards.
Establishes and maintains quality service and positive interaction with all patients, customers, visitors, health care providers, and clinical employees.
Continuously improves vocabulary and specialized subject matter knowledge.
Requirements:
Submission of an updated Resume.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Access to reliable transportation.
Ability to provide documentation of updated vaccinations to include but not limited to (dependent on location, federal and local regulations, and business policies for healthcare and others): TB, MMR, Varicella, Hep B (or declination), TDAP, Seasonal Influenza (Flu), and Covid.
Successful completion of a drug test and Background Check & Security Screen.
A signed commitment to confidentiality, adherence to ethics, and HIPAA compliance.
Preferred Qualifications:
1+ years of interpreting experience.
Knowledge of Kreato Global’s evaluation process conforming to interpreting standards defined by NCIHC, IMIA, and CHIA.
